It is important that you make sure you are aware of any entry requirements, or travel guidance, that is in place for Spain and the Balearic Islands, both when you book and before you travel. If you're a British passport holder, make sure you check these by visiting the Foreign & Commonwealth Office website.


General Terms & Conditions Applicable To All Reservations

When you book with us we will discuss your requirements and then make the reservations you have requested.  Once you are satisfied with the reservations we have made, we will issue a Confirmation & Pro-Forma Invoice detailing the reservations we are holding on your behalf and confirming the prices.  We do not normally require a deposit for reservations which are only for tee-bookings, and occasionally we will ask for a deposit if this is requested by a hotel, however we will let you know if a deposit is required.

When booking with us you guarantee that you have the authority to accept the terms of these booking conditions on behalf of your whole party.

We will inform you of your ‘Payment Due’ date. You should ensure that your full payment reaches us by this date.  Payment can be made by either international bank transfer (SEPA Transfer), or by credit or debit card (Visa / MasterCard).

If your payment does not reach us by the ‘Payment Due’ date, then we reserve the right to cancel the reservations we are holding for you. We will try to contact you once before we do this, but if we’re unable to, then we may cancel all of your reservations without making any further attempts. If you ask us to reinstate your reservations then it will be treated as a new booking. The prevailing rates will apply, and these may be more or less than the rates originally offered.

Once we have received any payment from you a contract exists between us, and all conditions became binding on both of us. Your contract with More Than Golf Ltd, trading as Simply Mallorca Golf, is governed by UK law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction on the courts of the UK. The person making the booking not only guarantees payment to us of the total cost of the Confirmation & Pro-Forma Invoice, but does so on behalf of and with the consent of all persons for whom the booking is completed.

If the full amount is not received by the ‘Payment Due’ date as shown on the Confirmation & Pro-Forma Invoice, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you and, if a deposit has been paid, levy cancellation charges as laid out in section 3. 

We do not normally accept individual payments from a group. However, this can be arranged for a supplement of 15€ per person. If not all of the group pay by the ‘Payment Due’ date then the reservations may be cancelled and payments returned to group members, less any applicable cancellation fees.

It is most important that you check the Confirmation & Pro-Forma Invoice as soon as you receive it. If the reservations are not exactly what you require, and / or you believe the prices are incorrect, then please notify us at once. We will deem the invoice as being correct if we are not made aware of any errors within 7 days of the document being issued.

Once you have made your reservations we strongly recommend that you have a fully comprehensive travel insurance in place in the unlikely event that you need to cancel your plans. This should also include golf cover.

Terms & Conditions for 'Green Fee Only' Reservations

1. Your reservations

Whilst we will hold written confirmations with all of the golf courses for the reservations we are holding in your name, the courses reserve the right to change, alter or cancel your reservations in the event of unscheduled maintenance to the courses, course closures or the acceptance of a private booking resulting in the closure of the course. The course may refuse you the right to play if you are intoxicated, inappropriately dressed, or unable to present a valid green fee voucher issued by Simply Mallorca Golf.

2. If you amend your booking

Let us know if you wish to alter any part of your tee-booking.  We will always try to honour any requests.  

If you have not paid us for your tee-bookings, we will not charge a fee for amending your reservations.

If you have paid us for your tee-bookings, no amendment charges will be applied when increasing the number of players.

A decrease in the number of players after we have received your payment will be treated as a cancellation of that player or players, and a charge as indicated in section 3 will apply.

The first time that you need to change the time or date of a round of golf that you have booked with us, then, provided the course permit the change, we will not charge an amendment fee. The only exception to this is if the new time or date is in a different price band to the original booking, in which case we will raise an invoice for the difference in price, and request immediate payment.

If the new rate is less than the original price, we will refund the difference in price, provided that this is more than 10€ per person. If it is less we will hold the full amount in credit for a period of 18 months.

All amendments must be made by email to Simply Mallorca Golf, unless it is in relation to an amendment within 72 hours of the date of play, in which case please call +34 658 597 600.

If you request to amend a tee-booking for a second time, for any reason other than inclement weather, then we will apply a fee of 20€ per round, in addition to any charges due to the difference in price bands.

If you request to change from one course to another, this will be treated as a cancellation, and a new booking. The fees shown in section 3 below will apply to the cancellation.

3. If you cancel, reduce or part-cancel your tee-bookings

You may cancel your tee-bookings at any time.  Written notification from the person who made the booking must be e-mailed to us confirming which tee-bookings are to be cancelled. 

If we have not received a payment from you we will not apply a cancellation fee.

Upon receipt of your payment there will always be a fixed amount of 15€ per person per round which is not refundable under any circumstance.

Since we may incur additional costs in cancelling your tee-bookings, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges, up to the maximum shown in the tables below. 

The notice period is the number of days prior to the round of golf that is being cancelled, when notification is acknowledged from us by email. The maximum cancellation fee is expressed as a percentage of the total price of the green fees being cancelled, and includes the fixed, non-refundable amount of 15€ per person per round.

Please remember that if the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy you may be able to reclaim any charges.

Notice period for parties of 17 or more people

Notice period for parties of 01 to 16 people

We do not intend to profit from your misfortune in the event that you need to cancel. However, we incur charges for administering your booking / cancellation, and making a refund, in addition to the time spent doing this. Therefore, when a booking is cancelled more than 7 days in advance we may occasionally be able to apply a smaller cancellation fee, or offer a credit valid for 18 months. However, the cancellation fee will never be less than 15€ per person per round. 

We can only accept emailed instructions to cancel your tee-bookings. We will acknowledge receipt of your email cancelling your booking. However, we cannot accept responsibility for cancellation charges arising from an email that is delayed or lost. We will acknowledge your email during normal office hours. The date we acknowledge your email will be the effective cancellation date of your booking.

Refund Methods

We will offer you the opportunity to retain your refund as a credit, valid for 18 months. After 18 months the credit will expire.

If you would prefer to have a refund, and you have paid with a credit / debit card, then we will make a refund to your card, provided that we are within the permitted time limit to do so. If we are unable to do this we will request your bank details, and make a bank transfer, in Euros, to your account.

If you have paid by bank transfer then we will make the transfer to the bank account of your choice. To do this we will need the following information in respect of the account that you would like us to credit:

·         IBAN Code

·         BIC/SWIFT

·         Name of the account to be credited

·         Address of account holder

We do not accept any liability if the details provided to us are incorrect.

Some banks / countries charge us a fee to make a bank transfer to your account. Where this is the case the fee will be deducted from your refund amount in addition to the charges shown in the table above. Refunds to bank accounts in countries outside of the EU, for example, the UK and Switzerland will always be subject to an additional fee of 35€. Therefore, we strongly recommend that residents of the UK & Switzerland carefully consider which method they should use when making a payment to us.


Terms & Conditions for all other reservations which are not classed as 'Green Fee Only'

(These include, but are not limited to, reservations that include green fees, and at least one of the following; hotel accommodation, car hire, transfers or club hire.)

1. Your reservations

Whilst we will hold written confirmations with all of the golf courses for the reservations we are holding in your name, the courses reserve the right to change, alter or cancel your reservations in the event of unscheduled maintenance to the courses, course closures or the acceptance of a private booking resulting in the closure of the course. The course may refuse you the right to play if you are intoxicated, inappropriately dressed, or unable to present a valid green fee voucher issued by Simply Mallorca Golf.

We will hold written confirmations for your hotel accommodation, car-hire or transfers.

Normally we do not require a deposit to hold your reservations.  However, we may ask for a deposit if the hotel you have selected have asked us to provide them with a deposit.  The amount will be discussed with you at the time of booking and will depend on the hotel you have selected, how many rooms you require and the length of your stay. It will generally be between 50€ and 150€ per person. If we have asked for a deposit your booking will be subject to ‘Special Terms & Conditions’ in respect of any cancellations or modifications. These terms and conditions will be discussed with you at the time of making your reservations and before requesting a deposit. Therefore, the fees shown in the tables below will not apply.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance at the same time as you make your booking with us.

2. If you amend your booking

Should you wish to amend any part of your booking please notify us at once.  We will always try to honour any requests. 

If the number of people in your party increases, the price will be recalculated on the basis of the amended party size.  Please be aware that if any additional hotel rooms are required these may be at a higher cost to those originally booked. If you have also booked transfers then the price of your arrangements may increase or decrease as a result of having to contract a different sized vehicle, or as a result of the same size of vehicle being shared by less or more people. Your Confirmation will be reissued to reflect the changes you have requested, and any additional payments requested.

If the number of people in your party decreases the price will be recalculated on the basis of the amended party size, and your Confirmation will be re-issued. If you have already made a part or full payment to Simply Mallorca Golf then this will be classed as a part-cancellation and the charges indicated in section 3 will be applied in all cases.  Any increase in price per person as a result of part cancellation (e.g. sole occupancy charge in a twin) may not covered by your insurance.

If Simply Mallorca Golf incurs any further costs as a result of any amendment to your booking these costs will be passed on to you.

All amendments and name changes must be made by email to Simply Mallorca Golf and any charges will depend on the date your email is received by us.

3. If you cancel, reduce / part-cancel your reservations

You may cancel any or all of your travel arrangements at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking must be e-mailed to us confirming which reservations are to be cancelled. Since we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum as shown below. 

Cancellation charges will not be applied if we have not received any form of payment from you.

Upon receipt of any payment from you there will always be a fixed amount of 100€ per person which is not refundable under any circumstance.

The tables below show the period before departure within which notification to cancel is received by us by email.  The amount of the cancellation fee is expressed as a percentage of the total price, as indicated on the Confirmation & Pro-Forma Invoice / Confirmation & Invoice. If the percentage amount is less than 100€ the greater amount will apply.

Force Majeure

Very rarely, it may be impossible for you to take up the holiday you have booked with us due to "force majeure". This means any event which we, or the supplier of the service(s) that we provide to you, could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid.

Such events may include, whether actual or threatened, war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the point of origin or destination, adverse weather conditions, fire, the sudden and immediate cessation of domestic and / or international flights and all similar events outside our control.

If this situation does occur, we regret that it may be impossible for us to make a refund to you, unless we obtain a refund from our suppliers. We will not pay you any compensation, or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result of needing to travel home, or being unable to travel home, due to “force majeure”.
